National Process Symposium 21 (NPS21)

The Netherlands Process Technology Symposium (NPS 21) will take place on 4–5 November in Maastricht, hosted by Maastricht University. With the theme “Chemical Engineering for a Sustainable Tomorrow”, the conference will bring together academia, industry and other stakeholders to discuss recent developments in sustainable processes and technologies for greener manufacturing. The programme features plenary and keynote talks, as well as oral and poster presentations across six topical sessions.

EMPHATICaL will be represented by Lucas Poker, Delft University of Technology, who will present “Load flexibility analysis of a mechanical vapour recompression assisted distillation column for e-methanol production”. The presentation will showcase EMPHATICaL research on flexible and energy efficient e-methanol production and the role of advanced distillation technologies in the project.
